A Message from the President
Dear Valued HFMA Indiana Pressler Memorial Member,
National HFMA is in the process of completing the annual membership satisfaction survey. The survey is the primary source of feedback to our board of directors as we plan our services to you. Thank you to each of the members who participated in the survey process.
Our added education programming this year appears to be suiting our membership well. With the addition of the collaborations with the Indiana Rural Health Association in August and our recent multi-association collaborative Healthcare Symposium, HFMA members have attended nearly 20% more education contact hours than the previous year. We remain committed to bringing quality and timely education to our members.
As we head into the winter months, the Indiana chapter continues to plan quality education for your benefit. Check out the listing to the right of this message regarding upcoming events and the increasingly popular webinar series. In response to your feedback, we planned a
December 13th Introduction to Healthcare Financial Management at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne. Our upcoming winter institute on February 27th and 28th in Carmel is in the final stages of planning; stay tuned for more information coming soon.
We also want to thank each of our volunteer leaders for their hard work to serve our membership. Volunteerism in our chapter is also on the increase. Should you desire to get involved, please reach out to me, or any of the officers and board members directly. You can also click on the Committees link above for more details about each committee as well as access to registration.
Thank you again for the opportunity to serve as your president.
