Witt/Kieffer has been engaged to assist Parkview Health in the recruitment a Vice President, Finance/Corporate Controller.   Headquartered in Fort Wayne, Indiana and serving as northeast Indiana’s largest not-for-profit healthcare system, Parkview Health includes eight acute care hospitals, numerous specialty centers, a large employed physician group, revenues of more than $1.5 billion and over 10,000 employees.   

The VP, Finance/Corporate Controller has oversight of fiscal services, accounts payable, payroll tax, and decision support for the entire system.   Reporting directly to Parkview’s Senior Vice President/CFO, the VP, Finance/Corporate Controller is a critical member of the CFO’s system leadership team will help continue to build a world class “One Parkview Finance Division” using evidence based best practices.   The VP, Finance/Corporate Controller will partner with leaders across the health system to ensure top financial performance while creating, maintaining and developing business processes and systems to insure the accuracy of all financial transactions and implementing strategies to mitigate risks. 

The ideal candidate will have experience as a senior financial executive in a high performing, multi-site integrated healthcare delivery system.   An advanced degree is required.  Audit experience in a national accounting firm is also desirable as is a Certified Public Accountant license.  The executive will be comfortable advising and supporting others in a time of transformational change in the delivery and financing of healthcare.  He/she must have strong values, ethics and integrity; proven decision-making ability; superb interpersonal and communication skills; and technical financial management knowledge.  He/she must also be a proactive, out-of-the-box thinker, with a high level of intellectual curiosity.
